GlassHosting Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) Effective Date: 11/18/2025 This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) outlines activities that are prohibited when using products and services provided by GlassHosting, a division of Glasshouse Holding Group LLC.By using our services, you agree to comply with this AUP. Violations may result in suspension or termination without refund. 1. Illegal Activities You may not use GlassHosting services to engage in, promote, or facilitate any illegal activity, including but not limited to: Malware creation, distribution, or command-and-control Phishing, identity theft, or credential harvesting Hosting stolen software, leaked code, or pirated content Selling or distributing illegal goods or services Child exploitation material (zero tolerance) Immediate termination without warning applies to all illegal activity. 2. Network Abuse & Security Violations The following are strictly prohibited: DDoS attacks or participation in DDoS-for-hire networks Running stressers/booters IP spoofing, ARP poisoning, or MAC flooding Port scanning or unauthorized penetration testing Interference with other customers or nodes Using your service as a proxy/VPN exit node without written approval Any activity that threatens network stability will lead to immediate action. 3. Spam & Messaging Abuse The following are disallowed: Email spam, SMS spam, or messaging spam Mass unsolicited communications Hosting bulk email tools without permission Open mail relays If your IP becomes blacklisted due to your actions, your service may be suspended. 4. Resource Abuse To ensure fair performance for all customers, you may not: Run continuous 100% CPU workloads on shared hosting/game plans Circumvent allocated RAM limits Store non-service-related files (e.g., movies, ISO archives, backups from other providers) Generate excessive logs or large uncompressed backup files GlassHosting may throttle, suspend, or request cleanup for resource abuse. 5. Crypto Mining Game hosting and VPS plans: crypto mining is prohibited Dedicated servers: crypto mining is allowed only with prior approval Mining without authorization is treated as resource abuse. 6. Harmful & Disallowed Content The following content cannot be hosted: Malware, RATs, trojans, worms, keyloggers Botnets, C2 infrastructure, or automation tools for exploitation Sites promoting violence or extremism Doxxing databases or personal information dumps “Swatting-as-a-service,” harassment tools, or stalking software 7. Game Hosting Restrictions For Minecraft and other game hosting services, the following are prohibited: Plugins or mods designed to harm other servers or networks Bypassing player-count or resource restrictions Forkbombs, forked processes, or process injection Running unrelated software (web panels, VPNs, proxies, etc.) without approval 8. VPS Restrictions VPS plans may not be used for: Hosting public-facing VPN/proxy services Tor exit nodes Large-scale scraping or crawling High-bandwidth automation or spam APIs Unlicensed game servers Simulating DDoS attacks or load testing 9. Dedicated Server Additional Rules Dedicated servers allow more flexibility, but still cannot be used for: Hosting or selling malware Running public botnets Breaking US federal or Wyoming state law Activities that jeopardize GlassHosting’s network reputation Customers are responsible for their security, OS hardening, and backups. 10. Fair Use & Storage Policies You may not use GlassHosting services as: A personal archive or offsite backup repository A media distribution center A file-sharing or torrent seedbox without permission A storage dump for unrelated content All storage must support active services you host with us. 11. Enforcement & Penalties Violations may result in: Warning and request for cleanup Service suspension IP null-routing Account termination (with or without notice) Denial of future services Reporting to law enforcement (for illegal activity) Refunds are not issued for accounts terminated due to AUP violations. 12.
