Paper Timings and Performance Profiling on GlassHosting
Why profile
Guessing at lag wastes weekends. Paper timings (or community-recommended profilers appropriate to your build) show which plugins or entity sources dominate tick time.
Workflow
- Reproduce lag with a normal player count
- Capture a timings/profile window during the issue
- Change one suspect (farm, plugin, view distance)
- Compare a second capture
- Upgrade GlassHosting resources only after obvious software waste is trimmed
Pair with panel graphs
CPU and RAM graphs on panel.glasshosting.com corroborate what timings claim. If graphs are calm while clients stutter, investigate client FPS or network path next.
