Named panel backups plus occasional SFTP downloads of irreplaceable worlds. Label backups with date and reason.
Restore drill
- Stop the server
- Restore the chosen backup
- Start and verify world loads
- Confirm auth/join still works for a trusted player
- Announce all-clear
Retention
Keep multiple dated backups when disk allows. Delete only after you confirm newer backups are healthy.
